This is a perfect place to catch up with friends, beautiful decor and delicious food. As well as a dedicated vegan menu, there are many inventive vegetarian options too.
I enjoyed the roasted aubergine, spinach and harissa burger, which is served with red pepper and cumin puree, charred spring onions and a kale and cauliflower couscous salad. I polished it off and even had a go at the charred chilli. One bite was enough!
I had a dessert too, just to be polite of course! Vegan Chocolate Tart served with strawberries, pictured above. And how glad I was that I did. Smooth, rich, creamy and dreamy with the perfect balance between bitter and sweet. Please try this tart if you ever eat here, it’s a revelation!
All in all, a highly recommended eatery. Aside from the outstanding food and imaginative menu, one of the main reasons for this is that every diet is catered for so meat eaters, or flexitarians don’t feel like they’re going to a vegan restaurant and vegans and veggies aren’t ‘fobbed off’ with the usual predictably boring options. Everyone’s a winner. Thank you Kings Arms!
